Datesman Village Apartments is a rural housing community situated in a quiet neighborhood setting. There are 30 units of garden-style apartments designed especially with the senior citizen and/or disabled person in mind. These garden apartments offer modern, maintenance free and very affordable living in a secure and pleasant surrounding. All apartments consist of a large eat-in kitchen, living room, one bedroom, a bathroom and lots of space for storage.

      Note: 3 apartments are designed for the handicapped and have a shower to accommodate a wheelchair.

  3. How does one qualify to rent an apartment?
    • One occupant must be 62 years of age or older, or handicap/disabled
    • Total adjusted annual household income is used to determine income eligibility. Applicant must meet income limits.
    • 1 PERSON INCOME LIMIT=$39,300
    • 2 PERSONS INCOME LIMIT=$44,150
  4. How much rent does a resident pay?
    • Rent is based on 30% of adjusted monthly income, which includes deductions for allowable medical expenses. Once an application is submitted, the Housing Authority can determine the cost. All information is held in strict confidence and there is absolutely no obligation.
